This Privacy Policy explains how Sakhi Seva Foundation (सखी सेवा फाउंडेशन) collects, uses, stores and shares personal information on this website and portal. It covers public pages, partner / student / women-group applications, logins, UPI/UTR payment proof, training records and certificates. Together with our Terms & Conditions, Refund / Cancellation Policy and Disclaimer, it is the notice for this Phase-1 system.
By submitting a form, uploading a document or signing in, you agree to this Policy. The office may update the text from the Admin Panel; the version on this page is the one that applies.
1
Who we are
Sakhi Seva Foundation is a registered organisation (registration no. 01/01/01/24665/12). Motto: सशक्त महिला... समृद्ध समाज... Questions about data: Contact Us or info@sakhisevafoundation.com.
2
Why we collect data
We collect only what is needed to run the programmes on this portal: verify identity, process applications, match course fees, isolate partner records, issue and verify certificates, and keep an office audit trail. We do not sell personal data or use it for unrelated advertising.
3
Public browsing
You can read Home, About, Programs, CSR & Projects, Gallery, Contact and this Policy without an account. Certificate verification is also public. Server logs may keep the usual technical data (date, page, browser, IP) for security and to keep the site working.
4
Partner applications
When you apply to become a community partner we typically store:
- Name, mobile, email, address / area and the details you type on the form.
- Photograph and identity documents (including Aadhaar where the form asks).
- Optional bank name, account name, account number and IFSC, if you fill those fields.
- An application ID so you can check application status.
After office approval, a login is created. That partner can see only students, batches, women groups and work linked to their own account — not other partners’ records.
5
Student admission and fees
Student admission forms collect name, mobile, optional email, course choice, photograph, identity documents and the information needed to allot a batch. After login, fee payment uses the UPI/QR / bank details published by the office. We then store:
- Amount, UTR / UPI reference and the payment-proof file you upload.
- Office decision (verified / rejected) and remarks, including if you re-submit proof.
Pay only the details shown on the student payment screen. A partner or agent should not collect your UPI PIN, OTP or full card number through this site — we do not ask for those.
6
Women groups and home-based work
Women-group applications store the leader’s name, mobile, optional email, bank account and bank document, plus member names, phones and identity numbers where the form requires them. Work assignment, due dates, completion and any work-payment reference are office records on this portal. Member KYC is for running the group, not for a public directory.
7
Certificates
When the office issues a certificate we store holder name, certificate number, verification code, type, dates and status (active / revoked / expired). The public verification page shows a limited set of fields so anyone can check authenticity. It does not show Aadhaar, bank account, UTR screenshot or login password.
8
Contact form
Messages sent from Contact Us include the name, subject and message you enter (and contact details if the form asks). The office reads them to reply. They are not published on the website.
9
Cookies and login sessions
- Language cookie — remembers English or Hindi.
- Login session cookie — keeps you signed in as office, partner, student or women-group user. Sessions time out after the idle period set in Admin Settings (default 30 minutes).
These cookies are needed for the site to work in two languages and to protect accounts. We do not run third-party advertising cookies on this portal.
10
Who inside the foundation can see data
- Office / admin staff — according to the modules assigned in the Admin Panel (RBAC). Super-admin can see office-wide records.
- Partners — only their own students, groups and work after they are authorised.
- Students / group leaders — their own application, payment and certificate screens after login.
Aadhaar and bank numbers are stored for verification and are shown masked in office lists wherever the software supports masking.
11
Sharing outside the office
We do not sell lists. We may share data only: (a) with the person it belongs to, on request after identity checks; (b) if Indian law or a competent authority requires it; (c) with a hosting or backup provider who processes data solely to keep this website running, under office instructions. Public project photos and the gallery show only office-approved material.
12
Retention
Application, payment, batch, work and certificate records are kept while the programme needs them and as long as the office must retain proof of training, fees or authorization. If an application is rejected, the office may still keep the file for audit and to prevent duplicate or false applications. Activity logs (user, action, IP) are kept for security.
13
Your rights
You may write to info@sakhisevafoundation.com (quote your application / admission / UTR number) to ask for:
- Correction of name, phone, address or document that is wrong on this portal.
- A note of what we hold about your application, where the office can reasonably provide it.
- Closure of a login the office no longer needs — subject to certificate and fee records that must stay for audit.
This Policy is meant to meet the spirit of Indian law on personal data used for a registered NGO’s programmes. It is not a claim of registration under every future rule; the office will update this page if the law requires a new notice.
14
Children and youth
Skill courses may include youth. If the applicant is under 18, a parent or guardian should submit or consent to the application and documents. This website is not a social network for children. We do not seek extra data from minors beyond the same application fields used for adult students.
15
Security
Logins use passwords stored only as hashes. Uploaded files stay on the office server for this project. No system is perfect: notify the office at once if you think your account or a payment proof was misused. Do not send Aadhaar or bank photos over unofficial WhatsApp numbers.
